English sub or dub?

Post by Madara » Thu May 24, 2018 7:14 pm

Between the two, which do you prefer and why?

When I started watching anime, I needed English dub but eventually it started to annoy me when I watched more English sub anime.

I try to watch dubbed when I can. I just am not a fan of subs.

Though I will still watch anime subbed if a dub isn't available.

Out of curiosity but how many anime have you seen before and how many of them were English sub? I ask because I used to do the same before I started liking English sub more and it started to be a pain to listen to English dub voices. Most anime have horrible English dub voices although some are decent.

I've seen about 10 series or so, including Cowboy Bebop, Yu-Yu Hakisho, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and Fullmetal Alchemist (including Brotherhood).

I think their dubs were fine, but maybe I just haven't seen a dub with really bad voice acting?
